The Last Ship, Room 6A, 1:45PM-2:45PM
« on: June 06, 2014, 06:10:48 AM »

Their mission is simple: Find a cure. Stop the virus. Save the world. When a global pandemic wipes out eighty percent of the planet's population, the crew of a lone naval destroyer must find a way to pull humanity from the brink of extinction. Executive Producer Michael Bay presents The Last Ship, starring Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra and Adam Baldwin. Coming to TNT in 2014.

Based on the book The Last Ship by William Brinkley
The Last Ship is a 1988 post-apocalyptic fiction novel written by William Brinkley.

i gotta say i'm really looking forward to this despite the Bay issue--  one of my all time fav mini series is The Stand.  Bay's association is worry-sum tho. Given the fact that tnt has put it in the time slot as a lead in to the season premier of Falling Skies,  i would assume there will be a panel at SDCC.
I lucked into the first panels of FS at SDCC & got some awsome swag, a black hoodie.

here's a review of the first ep shown at WC, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Anyone watch it?

granted i like to quote my son, 'bad' tv shows but i liked it.  It remains to be seen if the writing will be good enough for an ongoing series but i will continue to watch.

as i said before i'd put money on there being a panel at sdcc

Just finished watching the first episode, very well done, I'll keep watching
The more things change, the more they stay the same

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: It's okay, I'm a leaf on the wind!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: What does that mean?

DH started watching, and then I got into it too. We enjoyed it. Sunday night is so filled up right now, I don't know if we will stay with it, but we probably will. Enjoyed seeing Adam Baldwin.

The Last Resort was cancelled, Battleship was a flop and now we have The Last Ship.  Seemed more like a mini series than a series to me.  I'll give it one more episode to see where story is going. O0

We just watched all 3 of the aired shows in the past two days. Seeing as we live in a Navy infiltrated area and are 15 miles from Norfolk, it really was better than we expected.  Sure not everything is strictly by the book but definitely liking it a lot.

Should I go to this panel just in case they have tickets to the MGMT show?
