Let's put it this way. For the past few years, every Preview Night I've had to walk by a huge lineup of TwiMoms with tents, folding chairs, sleeping bags, etc. who are waiting for the Twilight panel the next morning.

So... legal? I have no idea. Does it happen? You bet your booty!

the lady told me i ended up with the last tent site, but they may still have rv and full hook up sites..

Also, try sweetwater, it's only 14 miles away and that was actually where I was going to stay first until I found this site that's closer..

Thanks for the tip...I booked the last site at the KOA in Chula Vista.  It's my first time to go and I am not familiar with the area.  Can you give me an idea how to "commute", e.g. trolley,etc. to go to the Con.  I'm bringing my husband and 10 year old boy.  We are in a very tight budget that's why we chose the KOA.  Plus, we're only going one day.  Thanks!

do you have parking at the con? ($95)

i think a metro pass is $15/person for the entire con ($45 for 3)

i would spend the extra $40 for parking, don't forget you can pack a cooler for lunches & drop stuff off mid day.

This is my first time going too. Only by looking at a map do I know where the place even is in relation to the Con. haha. But I would recommend listening to Alyssa. She's in Chula Vista too..

I think we may end up parking at one of the spots at the con. But since we are staying for the whole convention, we may use the trolley.. not sure yet...

BTW, glad you got a site. SO much cheaper than a hotel room, which leaves more money to spend elsewhere
