I'm compiling all of the "last-minute hotel room availability" threads into one thread so that it will be easier for people to look through and find what they need.  Hopefully, this will help someone out.


For the hotel transfer offers I have re-posted and quoted below, you can click on their usernames above the quoted text to reach their profiles and send them a PM about their room offer.  To find their original post, you can click on the "Quote from: [username]" in the post I made.

Hopefully this topic is allowed, I checked the previous threads and it didn't seem to fit.

I know a few years back I found this site and it was super helpful in directing me to roommates for San Diego Comic-Con so I thought I?d pay it forward this year!
My friend and I desperately need to sell this room since we can?t get a refund on the deposit ($427). The hotel wait list for SDCC only has locations available miles out from the con center so it?s not ideal but it might help a few of you guys out that need a place to stay!
Please note I am not looking to profit on this room, I just desperately need to sell it as we cannot get a refund -- new plans were made and we're no longer staying here.

Hotel is Handlery Hotel, 6 miles from the convention center, has a shuttle service from the Hotel Circle directly to the con!
$118 a night without tax.
Currently reserved for preview night Wednesday July 20, check out Sunday July 24. Dates CAN be changed!

I have a One Bedroom (King) with Sofa Bed (queen) room available in a downtown hotel (Sleeps 4 total).  Will transfer reservation to anyone interested. Available 7/23 Saturday only.

I should add this is at the Marriott Courtyard in Gaslamp Downtown.

Hi guys I have 1 room available @ Hotel Z check in July 21 check out Jul 24 price is $1324 no money needed up front just needs a valid credit card. I do not know if the dates can be changed when I was kindly given the reservation the dates could still be changed, with it being this close to SDCC it may not be able to be changed but you are interested I can contact them.
I was able to get a room at The Sofia through the waitlist & after a tense couple of days of OnPeak thinking I had duplicate rooms because of a split reservation (Tuesday & Wednesday at Town&Country)

I currently have a room through On Peak for a friend who cannot make it to Comic Con after all.  She has already paid the deposit, so if you Paypal that to her I will transfer the room to your name.   I have been a forum member here for a long time and am a member of buying group 2, so I have conducted many transactions through the board and can provide references.

The room is $320/night before taxes and fees for a King or 2 double beds room (type dependent upon when you check in).  It's for Tuesday-Sunday, but I can drop nights (just can't add any).   Bookend dates can probably be purchased through the hotel if you need additional days.

Room still available,  deposit is $506, if interested funds could be transferred via PayPal.  Then the reservation could be transferred.   This is the process my daughter used with another forum member for the room we are going to use.

I have a huge number of PMs for the MGH room and am waiting to see if the first respondent pays the deposit before declaring that it is taken.  If the transaction doesn't go through for some reason I'll contact the next person on the list.  I'll contact everyone who has PMed me about it personally when it's gone for sure

Hi all, I have a room at the Sheraton San Diego Marina (3.3 miles from convention center) up for grabs. It was booked through onpeak. My res is only for two nights, 6/21-6/23 (Thursday and Friday night), but I just checked my res and it looks like as of right now you would be able to add the Wed and Saturday if you wanted to, for the same nightly room rate per night.

It's a King Room @ $219/night, plus taxes and fees = $492.76 deposit/total.

Hello!  I have a room at the Omni, a one-king bed for July 20-24th and have room for 1 (possibly 2 people, we already have 5 in total but one may drop out) and I am pretty much just looking to bring down the cost of the room.  PM for more info if interested!  XD

Note: would prefer someone that doesn't mind being around alcohol and the room has 4 women and 1 man.
