WONDERCON Badges go on sale January 2013!

I know, this is the Comic-Con board.  I think if we're using deductive logic we can conclude that it's a strong possibility that since WonderCon badges go on sale "January 2013" Comic-Con badges will go on sale either late January or a later month.

I'm posting this in an attempt to stave off at least a couple of "when will badges go on sale?" questions

Would expect SDCC badges to go on sale before WonderCon badges. SDCC badges will sell out in hours. WonderCon badges are available for months.

Bought my WonderCon badge early December last year. I think that's when badges went on sale. Hard to use last year as a gauge though since I think they had decided to use Anaheim much earlier and with the Member ID registration and everything else going on, it was just a mess as to the dates when different things were announced. Either way though, looks like January will be a very busy month.

Keep in mind that WonderCOn is at the end of March. So selling badges in early January is about 2.5 months before the event. I think it will be first.

Also, the SDCC pro registration is going to happen BEFORE the general registration, so I'm guessing general reg may not be until February.

I remember buying my WC tickets in December last year. I bought a pass for my son in case we could not score Comic Con tickets and I put them in his stocking. It was a lot of fun and yes less packed than CCI. The tickets for WC never really sold out. I had friends that were able to purchase WC passes after the programming was announced. Yes it does sound like CCI is gearing up for the big 2013 rush for CCI passes.

No idea when in January, but keep checking every day like you are for any updates.

If they do it like San Diego, they will send an email with a link and a start time for the ticket sales (and please post here when you get the email    ).

If you have a member ID then they should email you. Log into the members page and make sure you are Recieving their emails and didn't accidentally opt-out. And make sure to follow CCI on twitter. Trust me, when they go on sale you will know. Usually they will let you know a couple days in advance of badge sales.

I don't think you'll have the same concerns w/ WC selling out in minutes like you do w/ SDCC but yes, would be nice to have the badges purchased and paid for and not have to worry about it...

Awesome news!  Looks like we're looking at a February release at the latest for CCI tix then!  I wonder how soon till they close the member ID registration again...

The badges shouldn't sell out that quickly. I'm sure they'll be available for quite awhile. It won't stop me form buying mine the moment they're available, though!
