PAX Unplugged is an exciting analog-focused extension of our already existing portfolio of PAX events. We’ve found that the Tabletop parts of PAX have grown and grown to the point where we said, “You know what? Let’s make a show that’s just that.” So we did, creating a celebration of tabletop gaming that includes an expo hall filled with developers eager to show you what they’ve been working on, an enormous tabletop game library curated by over a decade of PAX events, panels and presentations talking about the tabletop scene, and You are not allowed to view links. I applied to volunteer for AEG Big Game Night too. I've always attended as a fan but have wanted to try and volunteer in the past. This year my friend and I applied. Hoping we are approved!

This year I'm trying to stay in town for at least one night.  I am going to plan on playing TPK at least one if not two sessions...that was the *best* time I had last year...our table came in second, but the sponsors gave 1st and 2nd places the prize (which was cool dice).  So much fun!  Hoping that they release that stuff soon.

Awesome! I've been hearing mixed reviews about Big Game Night over the past few years, so I'd be curious to hear your views after volunteering.

I've generally enjoyed it in the past. I think they are starting to hone in on it a bit more.

When I first started doing it they had like all their games available to play and you got a box with a bunch of games, but since they had all their games out you spent the entire night playing. Then it seemed like they just had the games they were giving out in the box to play and it felt like it was like just show up play the two games and leave. However with Tiny Towns and Guild of Merchant Explorers now it seems that while they are just doing the games they are giving out they are also doing like massive games where everyone plays a big game of the same game.

I will be there Friday and Saturday.  Hoping to get in on Blades in the Dark (Fri morning) and a number of the D&D panels showing off the new Dragonlance campaign.  Also got in on a Magic The Gathering beginner session Fri night.
