Sure, teleporting into San Diego remedies many stresses associated with Comic-Con, and knowing fans' questions before they are ever asked would certainly seem to give them a leg up, but that doesn't mean The Tomorrow People are any less excited about their inaugural visit to the world's premier fan convention. Series stars Robbie Amell (1600 Penn), Peyton List (Mad Men), and Mark Pellegrino (Lost), along with executive producers Greg Berlanti (Green Lantern), Phil Klemmer (Chuck), and Danny Cannon (Nikita), will be on hand for a special pilot screening, followed by a Q&A to discuss this story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution. From Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions, FremantleMedia, Warner Bros. Television, and CBS Television Studios, The Tomorrow People will air Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW this fall.

Saturday July 20, 2013 5:55pm - 6:55pm
Room 6BCF

Pellegrino will play villain Dr Jedikiah Price in the drama, directed by Nikita's Danny Cannon, according to Deadline.

A paranoid biologist, Jedikiah is determined to contain the 'threat' of the Tomorrow People, who represent the next stage in human evolution.

In the original Tomorrow People series, Jedikiah was a shape-shifting alien robot and was played by a number of different actors, including Francis de Wolff.

47-year-old Pellegrino is known for his role in a number of cult television series, having appeared on Lost, Supernatural and Syfy's Being Human.

The Home and Away actor will play John Young, a member of the Tomorrow People who specialises in teleportation, according to multiple sources. Mitchell has played Romeo Smith on Home and Away since 2009, and previously appeared in Neighbours. He won the TV Week Logie Award for 'Most Popular New Male Talent' in 2010.

Amell's character is described as a "tortured" young man who longs to become normal. The 24-year-old actor joins Mad Men's Peyton List and Home and Away's Luke Mitchell in the pilot, from Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow).

Based on the British series of the same name, The Tomorrow People tells the story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil. The drama is produced by Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Television & FreemantleMedia and stars Robbie Amell, Madeleine Mantock, Peyton List, Luke Mitchell, Mark Pellegrino and Aaron Yoo. The pilot was directed by Danny Cannon, with Julie Plec, Greg Berlanti, Phil Klemmer and Cannon serving as executive producers. Melissa Kellner Berman is co-exec producer.

The revamp of the '70s UK sci-fi series which aired on ITV between 1973 and 1979, the new show will focus on a team of young people who have evolved into 'homo superior'.  For a glimps of what the 1970's show was like chekc out this site,
