Ah...of course.  Orlando has lots of options nearby so that is ok.  The last time I was down there for a convention was for a MegaCon about 8 eight years ago.  An All Star Wars convention must be mind-boggling. Hundreds of stormtroopers, hundreds of---every character.  Hey, I wonder if the box troopers will be there?

Thanks.  It looks like the Rosen Hotels are either full or are being saved for some group.  I noticed when going through OnPeak's hotel reservation process, there is a drop-down selection for 'Fan' and another for '501st'.

You said the move MegaCon made was a mistake.  How so?  I am considering going.

It's a smaller building.  It was okay in the sense of not having lots of vendors in the exhibit hall but MegaCon 2014 just exploded with more people.  It was contributed to cast members of the Walking Dead.  Not much room in the hallways of panels; sea of people.  Line cutting was rampant specifically for that panel.  Poorly managed all around.  Con was growing and they threw it in a small building.

Luckily in 2015 it went back to the West Concourse and it should be hosting there later this month.  This year should be the biggest one (attendance and guests).  Lots of big named guests coming.

If you want to see the building comparison pull up Google Maps.

I see the difference. Good they placed it back in the larger building. Yes indeed, the guest list looks nice and juicy. Thanks for the intel.

Planning on going next year for the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars! Haven't been to a SW Celebration since the first in Denver, 1999. I can't even imagine what it's like now. Anyone been in recent years and can fill me in a bit? :)
