A friend of mine had those cooling towels last year and she said they were heavenly in the heat!

Having had the stomach flu this past week: Imodium.
What are you, Worf? Do you tremble and quake with fear at the approach of combat? Hoping to talk your way out of a fight like a Human? Or do you hear the cry of the warrior, calling you to battle, calling you to glory like a Klingon?

Having had the stomach flu this past week: Imodium.

In 2014 I brought Imodium with me and I needed it when I was waiting on the Hall H line one early morning.  Thank heaven security allowed me to use the bathroom inside the convention center as I had an emergency.  After I got out of the bathroom I took my Imodium and was fine.

Amazing deal right now on this high-backed chair by Moon Lence. I have one of the low back ones and used it all Con last year and it was great, light, small easy to pack up and [member=3884]mlgagne[/member] even got one at my suggestion and it worked great for her too. This one is the high-backed version which I am going to upgrade to for leaning back. It's on sale right now for 49.99 and if you check off the $10 coupon box, it comes out to 39.99 and you can't beat that deal for a chair like this. It holds a good amount of weight too. I'm about 185 and it supported me fine

What's the $10 coupon? Is that for new Amazon Prime members?

OMG yes, echoing my love for this chair! I have the low back version too, though I may also splurge on the high back one once I'm settled in SoCal  ;D

The coupon is no longer available. Not sure how long it lasted. It was just a $10 off coupon on that item.

Safety pins.

Several times I've lost my badge because it got detached from the lanyard. So now the first thing I do is to attach a safety pin from badge to lanyard as a precaution.

A safety pin is a great idea! I used a second lanyard last year, because my badge was detaching also.

My nephew had his badge with lanyard stolen right off his neck while in a crowd of folks trying to get poster tubes about six years ago. We’ve used safety pins ever since.

first year I attended CCI... lanyard was starting to wear thru my badge... used some tape to try and fix it.... fast forward to waiting in line and they are coming around to hand out wristbands.... look down and my badge is gone!
Fortunately it had just dropped to the ground at my feet, but what a moment of panic.  I now re-inforce the plastic and also use a safety pin. Can never be too cautious!
