Today was very smooth, best sale and good spots were available as 10am when I logged in for people in other groups, good luck.

That's not bad, given that most of Group 2 has probably already gone in and purchased.

Thank you! The hotel room seems to be working out, too. Thank goodness for decent
customer service reps.

Got my parking thanks to NCDS.  Convention Center parking is the best.

Great to see folks in group 2 still getting HBF and CC parking.  Hope there are good spots left for the remaining groups as well since so many CC were avail for group 2

Yes, convention center is best. Too bad I need the Hilton instead in order to park overnight...

Just so you know, the Ace parking is *not* overnight. To park overnight you must obtain parking through the Hilton at checkin and it will cost $32 per night (self-park_. However it does come with in/out privileges, and they won't tow your car if you're there between 2 am and 5 am.

I've had no problems parking there overnight the past few years and knew people who would
enter the lot at 2 or 3am before getting in line!

Last year, I had a room at the Hilton but thought it would be closer to $40 a night so I still
used Ace the whole time and had no issues. (Of course I found out from my roommate who
needed parking at the last minute and went through the hotel that it ended up being $25
so she basically paid the same amount as me but with in/out privileges.)

But YMMV...

Convention Center is only full for Sunday, available Wednesday-Saturday

that actually makes sense.  I can imagine some of the vendors only use the underground parking on load in&out days

Looks like I missed the boat for parking registration ...

I know ACE parking will be opening up any remaining parking spaces in June, but are there any other viable options for parking besides parking far away, walking far, or taking the shuttle/taxi/carpooling?

I have an elderly disabled mother-in-law I will be taking to her first con and my wife (their 1st Comic-con/my 2nd) ... I'm looking to get parking for both Friday and Saturday, but it would be great if Thursday and Sunday were available too.  Hoping for convention parking so my mom doesn't have to walk far ... will probably need a wheelchair/use her walker in the very least.

Please advise!

This is my first time on this forum. Thank you in advance for any good tips you can throw my way!  :)

Rent her a wheelchair or a rascal. You 99.9% will not be getting Convention Center parking in June. There's also the trolley which you can park at a park and ride station and ride that in and it drops across from the Con. However, if your mother doesn't have the stamina to walk a few blocks from somewhere like the Horton Plaza parking lot (which I think will have openings along with some of the other further our lots), I'd just suggest the wheelchair or rascal anyways for the Con. Hell, it shreds me and I have no mobility issues.

I second what cracksback said.  Last year i had HBF parking and still walked over 100k steps per day.  Even with CC parking, it's a ton of waking.

There is a parking permit request thread.  You can add your name to see if anyone has any extra winning emails they can give you.  Not sure if any CC parking is left.

Thank you cracksback and Louie_rob_m for your responses!

Yes, I'll definitely need to get a wheelchair for her ... hopefully, they will have some available to rent at the convention center?

Where is this "parking permit request thread"?  I looked around to no avail ....
