Yeah the one thing about this pandemic is 1) it hasn't really impacted construction much, other than a bit of a shut-down initially in March, and 2) CCI was always planning on shutting down their museum facilities for a year and a half last fall anyway to get construction going for the opening this coming summer.

Unfortunately, word around town is many of the other museums in Balboa Park may not survive being shut-down for this long  :(
My wife, as a (small) part of her job collaborates with many of the museums and while her current job duties have precluded her from collaborating with museums for several months, last I heard was scary/depressing.

BUT, I am excited to CCI Museum is still on-track!!

They said that because of the uncertainty, they don't know if CCM will be part of the Balboa Park Museum Pass.  Also because so many variables are still up in the air, they don't know how much entrance will cost.  Even more reason to become a charter member.

I don't think there is a signup.  It's going to be streamed on YouTube.

I'm going to miss the reception.  The best food of any comic-con event.
