I hate that every fantasy show is now “the new game of thrones” even if it’s not swords and armor or that the property existed long before GoT.

This was a really bleak show but honestly I think the saddest thing for me was

. Also I'm very glad season 2 was already greenlit because I have a lot of questions.

Have to admit — this is one of the few series that I binge-watched.  Glad I did. I mainly started watching because of Carla Delevingne.  I liked her so much in Valerian.  She is soooo different here.  Adored the wings and the love story (natch).  Also liked many of the more minor characters and their development.  On to season 2!
It is 2024, and I am still asking...where's my flyin' car??!! @fannishmarcia

My husband and I really really enjoyed it. Very glad there will be a season 2!

The main plotline got a little soap-opera-y towards the end (not so much Vignette and Philo but the Brakespear family stuff) but I really liked most of the minor characters and the Burgue had good (if depressing) worldbuilding.
