Down the 91 from the 57 is Slaters 50/50. It's been on a couple food shows about bacon. They have the bacon milkshakes and brownies.

Anaheim Hills. There are a few imitations out there now. No one close to as good.

Fun dinner option is to go a few miles down Garden Grove Blvd and check out some Korean BBQ all you can eat joints. There are a LOT of them but I'd probably recommend Cham Sut Gol or Go Go Ryeo. Best bet is to go with the brisket and the pork belly. If you want the traditional stuff, look for the kalbi beef (should be the marinated one) or the short ribs.

There are alot of great places to eat in the area. Don't know how many visitors want to travel away from walking distance from the con.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this but a great breakfast pick-me-up is Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express at Downtown Disney. The beignets are made fresh in the cafe and are absolutely to die for.

What you gotta do is grab a fork and a napkin when you a buy a bag. You hold the beignets with the fork while hovering over the napkin. I've got it down so I don't get messy at all, really.

That's no fun. Best to eat with your hands.

Ok when were you last there? Guess we've gone at different times. If people were coming from out of town I would suggest the spectrum over the block. It's much nicer and in a better area too.

I was there last week.

It's always nice to walk around the spectrum. Granted at night it's pretty packed and with the two parking structures it's still a pain in the butt to find parking

Sprouts the wahoo's on chapman is by the orange circle.

Really? How did I ever miss that?!? I used to go hang out at the Circle during the summer, just to see the old cars that would cruise in the area. Maybe while I'm up there, I'll make a run that Fri. before Con opens...:) I wish I could remember the sushi restaurant that was there in the area - they served these things called "monkey balls", which were stuffed mushrooms rolled in tempura and then fried. They were GOOD!!!
