I wonder if they will make any changes to the minifig pickup this year. Seemed kind of silly to keep things the same as when they had the real-time drawing and make people wait hours in a big line. If not I hope at least they give people instructions that better reflect reality.
Batman, celebrating his 80th anniversary, will be all over San Diego Comic Con this year.Lego will also be part of the action, with the Caped Crusader in the company’s lineup of must-have limited- edition exclusives that companies offer convention goers. The Dark Knight of Gotham City, which Heat Vision reveals below, will be one of three exclusive sets from the brick company at Comic Con. Part of Lego’s DC Comics Super Heroes line, it’s a diorama of Gotham, replete with a water tower and gargoyle buildings, plus the Bat-Signal.A long-eared Batman is the mini-figurine that accompanies the set, which is 427 pieces and will be priced at $45.To get their hands on this bad (bat?) boy, attendees will have to enter a submission of interest through the San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Exclusives Portal beginning the last week of June.In addition to Dark Knight of Gotham City, Lego will launch two more set exclusives. One has already been revealed to be Captain Marvel and the Asis, while the final one has yet to be divulged. There may also be a mini-figure or two coming as well.
LEGO's Avengers Hulk Helicopter Drop will be available for $59.99 at San Diego Comic Con exclusively until it hits shelves in stores in November.
they normally don't reveal the minifig exclusives till the week of SDCC but i thought that last year they still listed them in the online lottery without names when the lottery opened up. do you think they are going to go back to a line up in sails? or worst yet not doing them? I wouldn't be surprised if they went to some kind of line just because i think the lottery reduces the chance of them ending up in the hands of kids which seems to be one of LEGOs goals in giving them out.
In order to participate in the lottery, the child must have a junior badge, so any kid under 13 will not be able to participate without a parent present.
