No.  I filled out the form and submitted it and then waited until the results came out, like they will come April 16.  I got shut out of all my choices.  I'm just wondering who all got shut out last year and what time did they got their form.  Unfortunately, I can't remember what time I got the form last year.  This year, it's 9:07.

Last year I got in around 9:03  (12:03 eastern).  I got shut out, however I only submitted for the 6 convention center adjacent hotels.  I didn't request any other hotels.  I eventually got a downtown hotel thru the forum, not con adjacent, but I was happy.

I did continue to monitor inventory.  Downtown hotels would pop up from time to time, and of course would get snapped up pretty fast.  There was non downtown inventory available almost up until the week prior to the con.

I got mine (non-downtown) at 9 pm UK time in the second week, meaning 2pm PDT. That was with a form access time of around 2 mins 45 after the start.

I gained access at 1 min 9 this time, so hoping to hear on Tuesday this time - anyone think that's reasonable for that time?

Gosh, at 9:07, I may get shut out yet again this year.  Last year, I was able to scoop up one of the hotels that posted later, but never got anything in the lottery.  This year, I'm hoping that choosing the island will help me, since there is no shuttle going that way and the ferry doesn't come early in the morning on Saturday (had to Uber it).  Maybe people don't like the lack of a shuttle?

While obsessing if my time is good enough, I came across this. Interesting breakdown of how waiting room works, and estimated times needed to get a downtown hotel. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Could I suggest everyone give $25 to their favorite charity to take their mind off of Hotelpocalypse?

Operation Smile is my charity of choice :) Been donating for years. Lost track of how much, but who cares. As long as I'm helping out someone in need!

Ugh...now i feel like I'm going to be sick. My first time wasn't great, it was around 9:02 but my later entry was much worse around 9:07. I'll just have to wait and see what the outcome is. In the meantime I'll be waiting around crossing my fingers, eyes, legs and toes  ;D

I did the same thing as you, I forgot to change mailing address on both forms. My times were the same as you. My phone went first at 9:02 then my laptop got 9:07. I know the 9:07 time isn't going to get me anything downtown.

I feel the same. I’ve been giving to 5 different charities for a number of years as well. I love animals so they are all animal related. :)

Is the consensus that the emails from OnPeak will start at 9 am PDT?

No, because OnPeak is consistently inconsistent. I think the HOPE is that emails will start around 9am PDT.

And Doctors Without Borders is my personal go-to as well. :)

Haha, I believe you are right! If I recall, didn't the emails just kind of go out in random batches?
