Wow! That leaves me out then. 9:03Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Everyone is going off last years sale time with the whole 9:02 thing but this year the sale site was comepkty differnt than last year. Don't worry about your time yet. We don't know with the new set up how many peole were sent in thru the batches.
silly question how do you see the time in which you got access to the forum?

Through past experiences, I've learned not to freak out about the submission time. There are so many known and unknown variables to the process we can only guess as to how the sort selection process truly goes.Whether through my own submission or another's generosity, I have managed to get a great hotel every year and my times have never been good. So, my recommendation is to not sweat it at this point.
I agree with you! Every year the sale seems to be different and the polls peole are seeing and comments with times of 9:02 and lower making people worry that they didn't get in isn't even a poll of everyone who participated once the sale so they are just a questionable to me.
We also don't know the impact of only sending the link to badgeholders, though it appears to me that plenty of non-badgeholders got the link anyway.
does anyone know if your place in line started once the window popped up after the running green man ? or was it after clicking on that button that puts you on the actual entry. I had two computers with the green man gone. but on my second one I didn't click on that proceed to form button until after I was done with the first one.
It's been a very difficult week (5 year old dog diagnosed with inoperable large brain tumor) so I was really hoping for something to be happy about this week. I'm really hoping I'm pleasantly surprised by the results of this hotel lottery.
Hi everyone! The sale is almost upon us and once again, we are ready to take the raw heat and turmoil of it all and chill it down with some cold, hard data analysis. We had awesome participation last year, so this year if you're willing, please answer as many of the questions below as possible. If you can, please get the timestamps from your browser cache as they will be exact. Some instructions on how to do this are below. If you can't, and can only give a rough estimate that's fine as well, and we will treat it accordingly in the analysis. Feel free to post information from the sale and then update it later with the result, make separate posts, whatever works for you. If you don't remember some things that's fine too, anything will help. Thanks in advance, and good luck with the sale!*****************************************************************************QuestionsWhat time were you given access to the form? What time did you submit the form? What was the first queue number that you saw?How many downtown hotels did you choose (0-6)How many non-downtown hotels did you choose (0-6)What option did you pick if your preferred hotels weren't available? (closest to the convention center, lowest available rate, shuttle route, disregard my request if choices aren't available)What waitlist preference did you pick? (yes, no)If you get a notification, what group were you in? (May 1, May 8.)What was your result? (Top choice downtown, other downtown, Top choice non-downtown, other non-downtown, waitlist, nothing.)*****************************************************************************Finding your form access and submission timestampsRight now we only have instructions for Firefox and Chrome. If you have trouble with the instructions or are using a different browser like IE or Safari please don't sweat it, we don't want to add any more stress to your day. Rough estimates are very helpful too. (If you do find an easy way to get the information from other browsers, please let me know and we'll add it here.)This is based on information supplied by the always helpful [member=3710]SteveD[/member] and [member=3729]racheva[/member] last year. We will update it if there are changes for 2017.In chrome you can type chrome://cache in the address bar.on the page, search (<CTRL> F) for cci.onpeak.info/addRequest?q=This will be the form entry cache file.search for cci.onpeak.info/thanksThis will be the form submission cache fileFirefox has the same type of cache search if you type about:cache and then select "List Cache Entries" under Disk. Then do the same search as above. When you find the cache entry you are searching for, just click on it to see the time information. This will work for both Chrome and Firefox. For example, the file should contain something like this:
