I think they should do it on Thanksgiving or Black Friday. That would be awesome and I believe a bit less competitive.

I hope it'll be the first week of November so I can get over the tension of whether or not I'll get a badge soon. Most likely the weekend before Thanksgiving, I think

I also agree that they want to get it over with sooner rather than later. The very fact that they've released the pricing and refund information tells me that they are planning to have it soon.

I can't imagine they would want to deal with all the emails and problems the week of Thanksgiving, which rules out 11/22.  And they don't want to work Thanksgiving weekend, which rules out 11/29.  I voted for the 15th but really really hope it's the 8th!!

That's a good point, TardisMom. CCI wants to take vacations too, and I'm sure they'd like to have any 'hassles' cleared up before Thanksgiving week!

Imagine the hell CCI support would get if they decided to do it too close to a major holiday like thanksgiving. I'd bet a quarter of those signed up wouldn't even be able to get to a computer due to visiting family or whatever.

My bet is the 8th, but I agree that the 15th is likely the latest

Well they DO WonderCon on Easter so I wouldn't put it past them to do the pre-sale at/around Thanksgiving!

I actually think it would maddening awesome if they did it on Thanksgiving or Black Friday! Talk about polarizing! :)

And I think most people think of Thanksgiving as a 4-day holiday weekend, whereas Easter festivities are rarely longer than a church service, an easter egg hunt, and maybe a nice lunch. So even if you did all of that you could still make it to Wondercon on Friday/Saturday.

But wouldn't it be crazy fun and madness to do it on Thanksgiving or Black Friday! What stress and energy that would bring!!! Even do it like a Black Friday sale and run it at like 12:01 am or something like that! Oh what fun!!

Definitely. It would be really cruel to have it on Black Friday for those people, and for CCI staff too.
