If it is 3 slots this year like last year, that is one thing to prepare for when participating in a buying group.  Ensure there is room on your credit card or debit card for buying full memberships for 3 people. I dont recall last year's prices, but just something to think about.

Thanks for clearing that up! I knew there was a limit on how many badges any one person could buy, just didn't know the specific number.

I forget folks don't know the CCI policy's they way I/we do.....silly me LOL.

I'm going to jumping into this as well (assuming the pre-reg gods are kind to me)...my niece turns 16 and she's been hounding me for the past couple years that I've been going to take her as well...so I gotta try and help to get her a ticket...we'll see how that goes.  Be a cool birthday gift for her to take her to SDCC.

Do you live close by? Even if she doesn't get a badge, she could still enjoy the events in the Gaslamp and surrounding area.

Hopefully though, working with a buying group, you'll be able to get her a badge. My 15 year old has been going to SDCC for a number of years now, and she loves it!

i agree that its still worth going to San Diego during the con even if you aren't lucky enough to get tickets - my family and i came from the UK this year and had a great time - but really, really want to get tickets for 2016 because of it

my complete guess is that gen reg will happen in early 2016
