How will the waitlist portal be catagorized? When you log in will it be listed in alphabetical order or is in based on location? In addition, do you just enter dates of what you need and rooms, and then it will list what is available?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, it has a primary sort on availability and will default to a secondary alphabetical sorting but there is a button that will resort by distance. It also defaults to some date range (maybe Thursday to Sunday?) There are fields to enter in specific dates and it will automatically refresh to show what has availability. If you click on a hotel that has availability it brings up a view that shows exactly what dates and room types are available.
No correction necessary.
So in terms of access to wait list and saving time, is it best to enter the criteria of what you need and then shows what's available, or clicking on the hotel you really want and then looking at dates and room info later?
So based on how things have been done in the past, is there no chance for people not on the waitlist to get access to this last sale opportunity? In my case, I was given a Mission Valley hotel when I applied for a downtown hotel (like everyone did) which I transferred to a member here, so I’m not expecting to get any emails with links from OnPeak - is that the end of it for me, or does the waitlist link just lead to a page that is open to everyone?
Did anyone have a situation where during the waitlist sale, you couldn't/didn't book all of your days at the same hotel? Say you pick a DT hotel that only has 1-2 of your days available - can you choose more days at another hotel or depending on availability, the hotel would let you add on more days? Also, do you get to receive the waitlist email if you transferred your reservation (and thus didn't decline)?
Is access to the waitlist based on your timestamp? Or do we go into a waiting room and then get access randomly?
