TV Guide Celebrates The X-Files' 20th Anniversary, Ballroom 20, 3:30pm-4:30pm

It's been two decades since FBI Special Agents Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) first partnered to investigate unsolved paranormal cases. The X-Files made primetime safe for sci-fi, and spawned a generation of hugely successful writer/producers. Somewhere, the truth is still out there. TV Guide Magazine Los Angeles bureau chief Michael Schneider leads a panel scheduled to include series creator Chris Carter, plus writers/producers David Amann, Vince Gilligan, Howard Gordon, Darin Morgan, Glen Morgan, John Shiban, Jim Wong, and more guests to come.

Nerdgasm!  My wife and I are huge X-Files' fans!  No word yet on David Duchovny or Gillian Anderson.  It would be nerd bliss if they showed up and I am hoping for another movie.

Yep! Her official website listed it.

I'm hopeful they can get more than just the two of them - I'd love for some of the Gunmen, Mitch Pileggi, William B. Moris, etc. to attend.

Gillian Anderson says she's attending the XF panel (time TBD), but that leaves open the question of if she's going to be in the Hannibal panel the same day (6:45-7:45 p.m.). She's not listed in that panel, but if it doesn't overlap with the XF one, it makes sense for her to make an appearance.

I just hope those two panels don't overlap. I'm going to the XF panel, but I'd really really like to be at the Hannibal one too. Ugh, and so it begends...

Oh, hell yeah!!!  Really hoping David can make it!  How awesome would that be?!  The whole room would erupt in applause for a solid five minutes!  I just hope Californication doesn't screw with this.  Badwolf, I am all for Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, and don't forget the Lone Gunmen to be there.  I'd take more of course.  ;)  I was fortunate enough to go to the first X-Files convention in Northern California in the late 90s got to meet Tooms, Skinner and Frohike.  Got their autographs and I hope to get more.

Just read that there will be an SDCC X-Files exclusive con that Chris Carter will sign, I am assuming right after the panel!  :)

One of my favorite shows growing up.  Hopefully, David will be there, how could he not?  This may be one of the more packed panels on that Friday.  Wonder when they will do this?

The panel is actually Thursday, btw.

I have a feeling the CBS panels announced today will be in B20 (Beauty and the Beast was there last year, as was the only other CBS panel, and the press release said they were all 'back to back' indicating the same room), so I'd think sometime around 1 or later when those wrap up if this is also Ballroom 20. That's my guess, anyway.

 I like everyone's sugestions about who they hope will be there...

 Love X-files .. but I will probably stick to the Exhibition Hall etc..

 unless ... my 1980's (and onward) "screen-crush" is making a rare convention appearance....

 Annabeth Gish! ... In which plan A goes to the dogs, and I do a Plan B, which is, er, lining up with everyone else. ;) ;)
