Really? I didn't know that. So, if you can take photos from the side of the Hall H area, does it automatically get you into Hall H? Or do you have to line up with everyone at 3 am to get yourself a seat?

That's the thing, as long as there are open seats in Hall H, if there are spaces along the left hand side, you can just squish in with other press photogs, less time needed to wait in line.  If they have to close the room due to capacity, you won't get in until the popular panel(s) is over and people leave the room.  But Ballroom 20 has no such photog areas, so no advantages there.

Soo basically there's a special press lineup for Hall H that ou can use as long as the room is not closed to capacity? Cool!

Now I want a press badge...

You'll most likely end up standing next to Getty photographers, or other online media folks.

And what's the problem with that?

Well, it was funny because that particular one liked to complain about how Comic-Con doesn't give media photographers much in terms of access and perks to cover the event, and they have to deal with volunteers whose job is to make sure everyone stays standing, and along that side space.

Here are my pictures from SDCC 2010. I am a textbook case of someone who takes what looks like the same picture over and over. The next year, I just took a few representative pictures of each panel-otherwise they all look the same (unless you are sitting super close)

I lied-I was just looking at my 2011 pictures-still did the bunches of pictures that look the same...

These aren't as organized. And yes-I attended the Teen Wolf panel on purpose-what are you gonna do about it?!?

Thanks for sharing your photos, Angology!  (Even if the panel photos are from far away, you still got a chance to take pictures of some of the celebrities there, so that's cool.) ^_^d
