SDCC 2020 Open Registration Yellow Status Updates (During the Sale)
Zero:
In 2008, we sold out all days for the first time in the convention’s history. In 2012, we hit our max capacity! We truly wish we could accommodate each and every person who would like to attend the show. We are making strides to increase space by utilizing hotels and outdoor venues including hosting programming and events at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel, Marriott Marquis Hotel, Hyatt Hotel, SD Central Library, and Horton Grand Theatre, Barriohaus and the Comic-Con Museum!! #OPENREG2020

Legendary sci-fi writer Robert A. Heinlein, author of the Hugo Award-winning novels “Starship Troopers” and “Stranger In A Strange Land”, came to Comic-Con in 1977 and launched a blood drive that still bears his name. In 2018, our attendees donated over 3,300 pints to the San Diego Blood Bank. #TeamBill or #TeamEric?

Comic-Con 2020 Open Registration is moments away! Stay calm, don’t refresh, and good luck! Before we get started, we’d like to take a second to dedicate this badge sale to our late President, John Rogers. He deeply loved Comic-Con, our mission, and all of our wonderful attendees. This one’s for you, John!
