The rest of the photos are posted. I am still getting used to my new camera, so excuse some of the fuzzy pics!

It was a really fun time, but way overcrowded! Hopefully, they will address the issues (they are pretty good about it so far). There were some unsafe moments-luckily, there were no disasters!

Oh, thanks again for sharing, Angology. I love seeing photos from various convention experiences--it really gives you that nostalgic feeling... *laughs*
Angology:
Went to Comicpalooza in Houston over the weekend. Had a great time. This one is pretty unique-lots of small panels on a wide spectrum of topics. Saw a panel with Science Fiction writers Larry Niven and Timothy Zahn. DH sat in a panel with neurobiologists from Baylor talking about research on moving objects with the human mind (he was in heaven). While he was in that one, I was in a Hello Kitty panel (my brain needs a vacation from all that deep thinking!). Lots of other panels too!
They had a few problems because they were shut out of the area with separate rooms for panels, and the main stage had to compete with Quidditch matches and Roller Derby at times, but we made the best of it. Saw Michael Biehn from The Terminator, and got his autograph (yes-he signed it "Come with me if you want to live"!). I also got Chandler Riggs autograph (Carl from The Walking Dead)-he is a very sweet and together kid. I was very impressed. We ended it with a George Takei panel, which was phenomenal!
Oh yeah-saw two movies-A documentary called "We Are All Cylons"-very good (even though we aren't BSG fans, we enjoyed it). We also saw a grindhouse type flick by Michael Biehn called The Victim-was fun (Michael was in the room and was lying on the floor watching it with us-awesome!)
All in all-a great time. They are listening to our feedback about the set up, and do say they will get the enclosed rooms next year. We will definitely go again! It is such a diverse con-we have a lot of fun.
