Comic-Con International Presents Comic Creator Connection

Comic Creator Connection

Are you a writer with a great idea for a comic book series, but you can’t draw? Or maybe you’re an artist looking to illustrate an incredible story, but you can’t write. Perhaps you’re both looking for someone to collaborate with so you can jumpstart your careers in the comic book industry. Comic-Con’s Comic Creator Connection, you just might find each other!

Comic Creator Connection will offer two sessions designed to introduce potential collaborators to fellow writers and artists, one on Friday, July 20, and one on Sunday, July 22. The CCC’s Pitch Review will also be held both days to help you with your presentations.

Comic-Con International Presents Gaming Creator Connection

Gaming Creator Connection

Gaming Creator Connection returns to Comic-Con on Saturday, July 21. The program features an opportunity for game developers—whether currently working in the industry or aspiring to do so—to receive valuable advice, insights, and mentoring from seasoned veterans of the game industry representing diverse backgrounds.

Gaming Creator Connection also includes another event, Game Pitch Review. This program will be conducted by a panel of professional game developers who will offer their invaluable advice and insight to those seeking to further their dreams of making their game a reality. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch a game for three minutes and then receive constructive criticism on how it went. This session will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis and sign-ups will be taken on site.

Please note: You must have either a 4-day or Saturday badge for Comic-Con 2018 to participate in Gaming Creator Connection or attend Game Pitch Review.
