Glad Kevin Smith is doing better. Now he needs to take it easy and not do so many projects. He’s at risk of having another attack now. I’m sure his docs will watch him though.

Spent last night watching the special features on the Thor Ragnarok DVD, so good. The audio commentary by Taika Waititi is hilarious.

Last night I was sent this picture by Jessie Maltin. Her and her dad, Leonard, interviewed Al Pacino for a future podcast. It just so happened she had my book to hand. They took the below picture and then Al asked of he could take my book home.

I'm so shocked and also incredibly happy this happened. Can't quite believe it.

This is beyond awesome.

I always respected Leonard Maltin as a critic.

I’m a Ballet fan and follow a bunch of dancers on Instagram. Was amused to see the Bolshoi corps doing barre exercises to the imperial March.

I was just walking the dog, and ended up chatting with a neighbor who is in kindergarden and is on his way to becoming a proper geek. His family has been to the house a few times and he's familiar with my cave and how I like to redecorate it from time to time with a different theme. He started going on about how I should do everything Hulk. Hulk figures, Hulk posters, Hulk comics. I asked why Hulk and he replied, "because it's spring time."

I finally got a computer upgrade at work and I have a new widescreen monitor and I LOVE IT. It's going to take some getting used to. Same with the new keyboard. But I have been waiting something like 4 years for an upgrade so woo-hoo!

Nice!
Last time I needed a new computer (mine had a black spot in the corner of the display and was sooo slow), I got an older laptop with less storage (and bigger). Oh well, it was new to me and faster, I guess. I swear our IT hates me.

Wow! A surprise package from Collector Corps arrived today... an Iron Man statue for Founders! It matches nicely with Captain American and Spidey. I wonder how things will change with Amazon taking over the Collector Corps. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

At my job, I got an assignment to estimate the size of the geeky market. I ended up defining geeks as those who like at least 3 of the nerd properties that were listed in our media planning tool (game of thrones walking dead etc). I got some interesting results. Like a segment of the nerd population who is over 55 and over indexes on rick and morty.
