Are any of you planning to hit Game of Thrones on Friday? And if so, are you going directly from this party to line up? I am wondering when we should line up or if we need to camp out overnight for GoT.

Hey everyone!

I pretty much never post here, but I do visit a lot to read all the great info you guys post!

The girlfriend and I will be at the King of the Con party as well.   Really looking forward to it!

Just got my email :)

What did the email say?  As a "late" pledger I didn't get one...

Hello Kings Of Con Cool Kids!

Instead of emailing you via indiegogo, I created a KINGS OF CON mailchimp account specifically for you guys who pledged to the tier. So I took your emails and imported them into mailchimp because I feel this is a more organized way of communicating with you guys. Hope you don't mind.

For starters, thank you so much for pledging, it is deeply appreciated and I am working around the clock to make sure the event rocks for you guys.

Please note, that I copied the name from your indiegogo account and put it on the VIP list already. So when you originally pledged, your name went on the list at the same time. If you have a different name you want me to use for the list, please notify me as soon as possible.

I am personally handling the door specifically for you guys to greet each and every one of you and make sure you get in effortlessly. You guys are my top priority. Once the campaign is over, I will have my master list of names and will be instructing you on where to find me at the venue so you can get in. Once the last of you are inside, I will join you all downstairs. FYI, the venue upstairs from the Dollhouse will be accessible to us and also have pool tables and arcade games! Very cool.

The other reason I am emailing you guys is because I wanted to share the invite with you guys FIRST before I share it with the world tomorrow on the site. Hope you like it.

If you have pals that wish to pledge and come to the party, please let them know since we are entering the last week of the campaign. I think we are offering an incredible value at the Kings Of Con tier level besides the party.

What do you guys think of the invite?

Looking forward to your thoughts and to having a great event!

-Umberto

Is anyone planning to wear their lanyard to King of Con? Just so I know who to say hello to :)

I'm not wearing my lanyard to the party, but I will be wearing a black top and hot pink pants - maybe I'll be the only one?   ^-^  Or we can recognize each other by the fact that we are squeeing and crying over *possible* celebrity attendees while the non-Indiegogo invitees stare at us like we have 10 heads  ;D

I'll be most likely wearing a dress with the Men of Dunharrow from LOTR on it. I figure something trendy + nerdy might be the way to go!

Ok, so I asked Umberto for clarification on dress code today and he replied with this:

Sure. It's a nightclub so ladies dress to impress and guys don't have to suit up but jeans, sneakers or dress shoes, t-shirt or button down with a blazer is fine. Dress shirt without blazer is fine as well. Hope this helps. :)

It's worded in a sort of confusing way (at least to me) but there you have it.

Did you guys see the tweet about Stallone and Schwarzenegger?

Man I'm all nervous now. I know the party doesnt' start officially until 10pm or so--I've got prior engagements at a party that I can not get out of for work stuff--so I won't be able to get to the door until 930pm. I emailed him to see if that was okay, but I *really* can't get out of the first thing until 9, and then I need like 30 minutes to get changed and back out to the dance club.
