Title: What is APE?
Post by: kappolo on May 31, 2012, 12:41:52 AM
I know it is "Alternative Press Expo".
Is it only about comics?
Is it a small scale comic con only for independent authors?

I've never been there and I was wondering what is APE really about.

It's small scale books. Usually non-superhero books like Dean Haspiel's

My understanding (which is admittedly limited) is that APE stands for Alternative Press Expo, meaning it highlights the smaller, more independent publishers.

Also, I thought you could ge tin for free if you had a Comic Con badge?
