Horton Theater Panels/Tickets
« on: July 12, 2019, 10:15:52 PM »
Can someone explain the schedule/ticket process for panels for the Horton Theater?

We’re interested in Parks and Rec. The schedule says 7:00-9:00 panel tickets, but categorized as “autographs”. Then another slot for 9:00-10:00 that says the same exact thing.

Not confusing at all. Can someone help me out and explain what to do? Why two different slots?

Thanks!

I think the 7-9 is the line for it, and the 9-10 is the draw.

They draw at 9, although sometimes they start early. The lines form by 7am though.

I was going for parks and rec too.

Amy Poehler is there. Panel info says writers, producers and cast members.

I was going for parks and rec too.

In my experiences the past few years, they have never started on time.  They have usually been late, sometimes notoriously so. Last year I remember, they were more than a half hour late on one day (Thurs I think). Reason being is the area in Sails they draw from is the same area they house the lines to get to the exhibit hall every morning. So they have to wait until everybody is cleared out before they can organize the area for the draws. This can take awhile and even leads some folks to give up if it doesn’t start in time. Just a heads up if anyone is planning for the early morn panels. But once it goes out goes fast. Maybe they will improve the process this year.

As they give out 2 tickets per person, is anyone in the Nathan Fillion line this morning that only needs 1 and has 1 to spare?

If anyone has a spare Parks & Rec panel ticket or two, I’d be eternally grateful! They ran out of tickets when I was 5 people away from drawing 😭

Does anyone have an extra ticket to Guillermo del Toro's Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark? I got up early every other morning to draw tickets for things my family wanted to go to and was so exhausted today I slept through my alarm and none of them bothered to try to go draw for me even though they were up. >_<
