I got in at 9:00:30 and they gave me Doubletree Mission Valley. I don't get it. I really don't...

Looks like I'll have to wait for the secondary sale and hope for the best.

This is a broken system.

Got picked!

West gate hotel in around 2 minutes

Not my top six , any downtown selected

Same time and same hotel result for me. Pretty lame since I had high hopes we’d get one of our downtown choices after getting in so early.

My 2 forms got in around the 49 second mark. Requested Quad Occupancy in the following hotels (7/17 - 7/22):

1) Hard Rock Suite
2) Hard Rock Studio
3) Omni
4) Hilton Bayfront
5) San Diego Marriott Marquis Marina
6) Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter

Today, my submission netted the following:

Today my group received the following:

* (7/16 - 7/22) Westin Gaslamp Quarter (2 Double Beds - Quad Occupancy)

* (7/17 - 7/22) Residence Inn San Diego Downtown/Bayfront (Suite 1 King Bed + Sofa Sleeper - Quad Occupancy)

Thankfully we are all locked at the MMM due to the kindness of this forum. Seems like my quad occupancy "demands" did us in this year. 49 seconds should be good.

Yes! God yes.  They can easily do it for badges, they can easily do it for this.  I don't understand what makes hotels so difficult for them to do live.  Have the waiting room, restrictions to a few rooms and everything,  even just have it for badge holders for a first round too.

I LOVED that hotel...stayed there last year and would love to stay there again.  :)

It could be exactly like badges - everyone requires a memberID and you get a unique waiting room link, and you book what you need with whatever is available or you immediately sign up for the wait list if you don't like what you see.

Got in at 9:02, got the Hampton Inn Downtown, 5th choice (others choices were HBF, Marriott Marquis, Embassy Suites, and the MGH), but considering the huge demand for the other properties, I'll take it. :)

I was happy with the result listening to this thread/reddit

This process is brutal

And when everything seems all good and done with the badge holders/people with confirmed tickets (since I know there are people who can only activate their codes and badges when they get to the con), they can release the rest to the public ~

Reading all your posts makes me sad and defeated.  I have never gotten a hotel from onpeak...never!!!  I'm happy and jealous to those that got an email at least.
