Wendi-Mclendon Covey just posted on her IG that The Goldbergs will be there this year. Looks like Sony is back!

This is really big news from both an ABC and SONY perspective and I am shocked this hasnt been picked up yet by the unofficial blog. I am personally stoked!

OK, here are the panels I'm excited to see.

GOT - Really, really hoping they have an awesome farewell panel.  I have to say I thought the previous years panels have been underwhelming but have high hopes for this year

Walking Dead - Have to image this is going to be some type of huge send off to the major cast that has already announced they are leaving. Such a good panel every year.

Bob's Burgers - Have never made it to their panel but really really want to, love the cast and show.

WB - I'm a marvel guy but WB really blows the doors off of Hall H Sat mornings.  My face always hurts from smiling so much :)

People of Earth looks unlikely since it was just canceled.

What's worse is that they renewed it, and then turned around and canceled it. The whole season was already written, too. :(

Back on topic: I am enjoying Reverie, but I don't know that there would be a panel. Okay-so that really isn't on topic.

I am excited for the Marvel Animation panel, as always. I wonder if there are any new animated series on tap.

I’ll be looking at the schedule for some of the smaller panels. I enjoyed Stan Vs Evil last year as I hadn’t seen the show before and John C McGinley was great. I only saw that from attending the Why 1987 is the best year in Nerd History panel which followed it. I like to look for new shows I haven’t seen and other topics. Not sure I’m going to push for Hall H this year. I am intrigued for Wonder Woman so I might shoot for the WB panel and yeah TWD would be a great panel to attend as well as GoT but I’ll admit I’ve skipped out on most of the last season of TWD. Partly due to us moving and not having time to watch TV during the season and partly due to wife and I realizing we didn’t really miss the show either. I’m behind a bit on the comics as well. I left off at the picket fence of severed heads issue(readers know what I’m talking about)
Fun isn’t something one considers when preparing for Comic-Con, but attending does put a smile on my face

FWIW the comics have taken a pretty different(ish) turn the last several months with a new, HUGE colony.  Also,
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
I think after the Whisperers story line the comic got interesting again.  We'll see where it goes, and IMO the comic (and the show) are just spinning its wheels and going through "same stories/different bad guys" syndrome but I think there is more upside potential with the comics right now than there has been in quite a loooooong time.  We'll see if it turns into The Governor 4.0 or whatnot, but so far I think it's fairly interesting.  It seems the show may be skipping the Wanderers storyline and will maybe jump more in line w/where the comics are NOW so the show might also get into more interesting territory.  With Lincoln leaving, and assuming something happens to Rick on the show (I can't imagine him necessarily just saying "well, so long everyone I'm going to just walk away now into the sunset w/out dying or something" although that could be interesting contrast to the doom/gloom that permeates so much of the series), that added dynamic could make for a more interesting season than the last several.

Now knowing who will likely be there, I'm sure there'll be plenty of interest in this one. Hall H Sunday?

I put my money on Hall H, not entirely sure about Sunday.  It's usually Sunday, but once it was Thursday and boy did that throw EVERYTHING off for me lol. I skipped it that year.

Damn.

Nooooooooo terrible news.  I was considering this since Saturday Hall H was likely to be a bust for me with no Marvel.

Aw, no panel or off-site?   :(

I hope next year's SDCC has a huge GOT presence to make up for this!
