I am really enjoying Legion and the very best part for me is the portrayal of David by Dan Stevens...brilliant.

Whatever I was expecting in the last episode, it wasn't an opening with Jemaine Clement in a polyester suit. I completely lost it at the beat poetry part. (If anyone is on the fence about watching the show and that doesn't do it, I don't know what else I can say :) )

New episode tonight and I think the series should be at an interesting point, I think they have to be careful here with the pacing. I really like how they are playing against conventions but the viewer can only get tossed around so much.

Enjoyed seeing this on the wall of the doctor's office last episode, (it's a lousy photo, sorry.) I'm going to have to start looking more closely at the backgrounds. This is going to be like Westworld where it will be well worth a rewatch once the season is complete.

Another of the many things I like about the series so far is their representation of superpowers. There's a lot of low budget effects, but still effective and they are a little bit different than I remember seeing before. Syd is an interesting Rogue-like character. Not really clear what the heck the Eye does but it was pretty cool. The way they did the TK guy in the first episode was one of the coolest things I've seen.

Edit after episode 5: definitely did not see that ending coming.

Wonderful acting this week. Don't know how spoilery this thread should be so won't say more.

In episode 4 the biggest surprise was Jemaine Clement. In episode 5 I'm thinking the (Oscar-nominated) song from The Muppet Movie? With banjo!

Love the music and the dancing!  Also, my daughter was watching the outfits the characters were wearing, especially at the end of ep 5, and seeing meaning in the colors, stripes, etc.  I know that was a theme in Fargo 2 as well.  Love the depth of the storytelling!

Should we put a spoilers warning in the subject, since now we might actually be at a point where we know some of what is going on? (I think we do at least.)

Another strong episode, Audrey Plaza was especially great.

LOL-I am confused half of the time, so I definitely don't know what's going on (but good point!). Agree on Ms. Plaza-she is really embracing this complex role!

I was trying to remember some details about how episode 5 ended, but I wasn't where I could stream anything so I skimmed a bunch of recaps and it was really funny. They all differed from each other about details, there were a lot of things missing and a lot of things that were incorrect. (Which means I'm also missing things and have some things wrong, going to be great to rewatch the series.)

But, and I'll put the last part here in spoiler space since this was only revealed for certain in the promo for episode 7, we finally know that the creepy weeble-wobble dude is

Another performance I'm enjoying is Bill Irwin's (anyone remember his Mr.Noodle from Elmo's World? Not to be confused with Mr. Noodle's brother Mr. Noodle.)

We can.  Direct TV.

I need to watch Ep 6 again, and read some recaps.  It wasn't as mind-blowing as other episodes but really loved Aubrey Plaza in it.

I have to admit that this show is getting good reviews as his character is meh in my opinion in the books.  Good for them.  :)

There is a podcast called "Legion: The Podcast" they have a good discussion of every episode
The more things change, the more they stay the same

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: It's okay, I'm a leaf on the wind!
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: What does that mean?

Episode 7 was awesome. My wife sat down next to me in the middle of it, ( I think she's only seen episodes 1-2) and innocently asked "so what's going on?" Apparently I gave her a look.

Some X-men connections this episode at last:
