I'm curious about the Syfy party at Solamar? Any thoughts on getting into this one.
I've been invited and, honestly, you have to have a business relationship with Syfy. They hand out wristbands to invited guests and the guards check pretty carefully. There are only two entrances to it and it's well-guarded.I know some invited guests couldn't get in last year because it was over capacity.I love the party, though, and hope I can swing an invitation this year.
At my last Comic Con (2014) I got into 2 Geek and Sundry parties, including an awesome Magic the Gathering one.
This is a great idea! I'm going to look back on all my old emails and see when and what sources some of these events had.. Don't want to miss out on a few of the parties.. The fandom on top of hard rock was the best!Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Yeah j did that one last year. Was probably one of the first 30 in line. Was really unorganized at first. Me and my buddies made sure we hit the open bar fast before it got busy haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I forget how I found out about it! My group ended up getting one of the lounge sofas and parked it there all night.. Well most the night.. I wish I left early to go to the mtv fandom awards.. I really wanted a blue chair lol got two yellows the prior yearDid you go to any other fun events off-site?Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
How did you guys get into that one? I was at the Hard Rock, staring longingly from my room window...
I RSVP'd for that one. Went there around opening time, very long line, waited about 15 minutes but the line didn't move a smidge. So I left and walked right into Nerd Nite where they had free dinner and an open bar.
OOOO what's Nerd Nite??
An event put on by National Geographic (or I guess NatGeo now)! Honestly, I found the presentations not that engaging, but it was a nice relaxing way to end the night.
I hate to contribute going off topic, but how did you get in?
