So, I've 3 variants of Todd MacFarlane's Spider-Man #1:
- First Print Green Edition *still in it's plastic bag* (they bagged this issue when it came out)
- First Print Silver Edition (#1B)
- Second Print Gold Edition
With the Green Edition still in its original plastic bag, I wonder how they'd consider grading that. Common sense means that they'd have to open the bag, but I wonder what that does to the perceived value of the book as they need to open that bag.
The Second Print Gold edition had a smaller run, and as you can see from the photo, while the spine's not rolled, it looks like the actual pages of the book are a bit wider than the cover. Is this one even worth getting graded?
