Open Registration Announcement!

I am Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. In the name of all that is good, Comic-Con 2020 Open Registration is on November 16, 2019! You can access the Expo Logic waiting room, the land of beauty and wonder, beginning at 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST). The badge sale will begin shortly after 9:00 AM PST.

As long as you have not purchased or registered for the Preview Night (Wednesday, July 22) option, and your Comic-Con Member ID was created and confirmed prior to November 4, 2019 at 10:30 AM PST, you are eligible to participate in Open Registration. We learned this the hard way, a long, long time ago. To see if you are eligible, simply log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account and look in the top, right corner. If you see the green “OK CC’20 Attendee Open Reg” flag, you are good to go.

Although the waiting room will open for entry at 8:00 AM PST, badges won’t go on sale until shortly after 9:00 AM PST. There is no need to rush to the waiting room at 8:00 AM PST! Make some breakfast, read the paper, and feel free join us about 10 – 15 minutes prior to 9:00 AM PST.

If you are eligible, your personal registration code and a link to the Expo Logic waiting room will be sent to you via invisible plane email at least 48 hours in advance of the sale. If you do not receive your email, check your spam folder in case it bounced off a bracelet of submission and never made it to your inbox. You can also log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account and check the “Registration Info” tab. Your registration code and link to the waiting room will be there at least 48 hours in advance of the sale.

Beware of joining a badge buying group with people you don’t know! Not even General Antiope can help if you or Steve Trevor posts your registration code or personal information online. Your registration code is only good for one entry into the waiting room and sharing your code could get you locked out. Also, if someone in your buying group (keep an eye on Ares) attempts to sell or scalp their badge, all badges in the order will be canceled, including yours. Unless you’re wielding the Lasso of Truth, don't risk it!

Thinking about buying a badge for your child? No need! Comic-Con offers one of the most generous child badge policies in the industry. Children age 12 and under are free with a paid adult!

We know that obtaining a Comic-Con badge can sometimes feel like crossing no man’s land, but there are simply far more eligible members than badges available. Entry to the waiting room does not guarantee you a badge or registration session, even if you were sculpted from clay and brought to life by Zeus. You can increase your chances by reading all of the information here, bookmark Toucan, the official blog of Comic-Con and WonderCon Anaheim, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest registration hints and tips.

And please, put the sword down before entering the Expo Logic waiting room. It doesn’t go with the outfit.
