LOL
i understand a lot of people's hesitancy to shift gears into a more 'inPerson' society but i think NYCC will be safe to do in six months. Look how far we've come in 6 months. Last Nov (6 months ago) we were heading into the scariest of time.  Lets assume the amount of progress will be close to the same going forward as the past six month.
I am NOT suggesting going against science recommendations.

if we backslide or a variant becomes a real issues according to Fauchi- i'll change my vote.

I am with you, I think my main concern now is the need for a booster.  With the 6 month estimate mine will fall around the event.  Otherwise, I have my vaccine card and lots of masks.

Are you asking if NYC hotels are open, or asking if there's a hotel lottery for NYCC.

I don't remember that there's ever been a lottery.  It's NYC.  They don't care.  Then again, I'm close to NYC, and never planned to stay in the city for NYCC, so I could be wrong.

I'm in the same boat. I just got fully vaccinated and to see if they will be offering boosters. Because my 6 months coverage ends in October.

according to family medical friends, a annual covid shot will be as routine as an annual flu shot is now.

There's no coverage end point yet.  That's 6 months so far.  If it's like other coronaviruses, no reason to believe it's not, it should be 1-2 years. Hopefully in a year we'll have oral vaccinations.  The pills are going through trials now.  There are different ways to get vaccinated being evaluated.  A nasal spray has the advantage of local immunity.

Website updated.  Deadline dates for panels and AA are interesting.  Hoping this means a ticket announcement soon.

7/11 tickets will be on sale to a) people who were fan-verified in 2019 and b) people who spend $99 on a metaverse Superfan membership. Single-day passes only.

Scrolled through the thread for the announcements and saw that press and professional badge information is coming later.

Wow...just...wow...

In order to participate even in purchasing a badge, you gotta pay them ~$100 to be a "superfan" in order to then be able to purchase single-day badges for this year??  How is this nothing more than a money grab?  That's just...wrong.

(I get the 2019 fan verified, that's not my issue here)

Somebody enlighten me here if I'm not reading that right...
