These are available on the MTS Trolley website, but I'm posting them here as direct links (to avoid having to click so many pages to get to the info you want, ha ha).

MTS Trolley timetables/schedules: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

*Note that some trolley stations have free parking, while others have paid parking.

Some info and policies about carrying some kinds of large cargo on the trolleys/buses:

EDIT: (Adding this information from another post I made in a different thread, as a reference.)

From the MTS web page about Comic-Con trolley info:
"There is free parking at Qualcomm Stadium. The Special Event Red Line will take you directly from Qualcomm Stadium to the Convention Center. At Hazard Center, free parking is available on the lower level (in the evening on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday)."

Hope that helps! If I find any more helpful links, I'll add them here. ^_^d

I've never been to San Diego and will be arriving by myself to meet up with others later. Is it relatively easy to get from the airport to the hotels by the convention center?

Instead of a cab, you can also use Super Shuttle.  I did a sample route using the Marriott Marquis and Marina Hotel (the one next to the San Diego Convention Center), just to try it out.  For a one-way with one adult (from the airport) trip, the "Shared Ride Van Service" price is $8.00.

Here's the website:
You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

The settings I used for the example were the following--
Select One-way or Round-Trip: One-way (From Airport)
Select Airport: San Diego Airport (SAN)
Select Address Type: Hotel / Popular Landmark
No. of Adult: 1
No. of Child: (left alone)

Enter Group / Discount Code: (left alone, but I'm sure you can find some online)

Click "Next."

The next page will take you the "Hotel / Landmark Search."  You can either enter the hotel name and they'll provide you with a list to choose from, or check the box that says "I will enter the address manually."
(For this, I just typed in "Marriott Marquis" as a reference point.)

Then, click "Next" (or follow the steps it asks of you for manually entering an address), and it will show you the rates for different kinds of ride services FROM the airport, as of today, Sunday, March 25, 2012:
  • Shared Ride Van Service ($8.00 USD for first passenger; $8.00 USD for each additional passenger). Note that this rate is only for one-way, so if you're thinking about using the Shared Ride Van Service, a round-trip is $16.00.
  • Exclusive Non-Stop Van Service ($49.00 USD).
  • Exclusive Van Service ($76.00 USD).
  • ExecuCar Sedan Service Meet and Greet ($40.00 USD).
  • ExecuCar SUV Service Meet and Greet ($60.00 USD).
(None of these include tip...)

*The TO the airport ride service seems to be cheaper for the ExecuCar Sedan ($25.00 USD) and SUV Service ($45.00 USD) Meet and Greet.

You can also call them for rate quotes, as they may or may not change throughout the year.

I hope that helps!  If I find any other ride services to and from the airport, I'll post them here. ^_^d
EDIT: Found another ride service to price compare.

Hey sorry I am bothering you all with newb questions. Didn't get any downtown hotels but got the Marriott in mission valley. And just wondering about the shuttle. Does each hotel have their own or is it just a company that keeps stopping at the hotels? Trying to figure out how comic con will go. Been to San Diego and loved mission valley. I keep trying to figure out why these hotels were the last to fill up. I guess I figure it all out once I get there.  Thanks again

Jeff, Comic Con provides a shuttle to people staying in their hotels. The MIssion Valley Marriott should be on the shuttle route. Check out this pdf:

Does anyone know what the schedule for the trolley is like?  I tried the above link, but it doesn't have the hours posted yet.  I was trying to get an idea of whether it runs in the wee hours of the morning (like if i wanted to get there at say 4-5AM) or if I would be better off trying to fight for a parking pass when they go on sale.

Thanks for any help :)

are you staying at a hotel with a shuttle service? the shuttle is 24/7 of the days of con. could be easier to go that way

We only have Thurs/Sun badges, so the first part of the trip we're at a shuttle hotel, but then we moved to our favorite beachside hotel so we can spend all day Fri and Sat on the beach.  It's about 8 miles from the convention center.  Historically, do Sundays have stuff worth getting there 4-5am-ish?

nerdftw, i get there at abt 6am each day-  it's really subjective abt what is 'worth getting there early for' are 2013 passes worth it? is getting in to the Doctor who panel?  I thought so, you may not tho.

looking at this time table( You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login ), i see that in general it seems as tho most scheduled trolley's run between 4am ish to 1am ish.  There seems to be a plus/minus half hour so i'd really look at the schedule but figure there's gonna be a bit more trolley's due to sdcc.
