Depends on where you are coming from.  For me, it's a 23 minute drive.

Is this a new convention?  I've not heard of it before.

I'm wondering if it's a full-fledged convention or an "autograph and photo op" money grab with a few panels tacked on to make it pretend like it's a real convention.

That being said, it's so close to me, I could buy a 1-day general admission just to check it out.

General autographs for Gal and Henry are already sold out.

Only option appears to be VIP which is more expensive.

Went to this one on Friday. One of the most unorganized cons I have gone to. Took over 3 hours to get in. I had a VIP ticket and people with general admission tickets were getting in faster. It wasn't really that crowded but still took forever to get in. They made us wait outside and it was freezing. Doors were supposed to open at 4pm, I got there at 3pm and somehow did not get in till after 6pm. I still don't even understand why it took so long to get in. The line wasn't even that long to get in, it just didn't move. Once i did get in it wasn't much better. The line to redeem autograph tickets was also super slow. They only had one person working it. The line had maybe 20 people on it and it took 40 minutes to get my autograph ticket. The only thing that ran well was the photo ops because it was a separate company running it who knew what they were doing. Anything the actual convention ran was just super slow and disorganized. Missed out on one of my autograph sessions because of how long it took to get in to the building. I did get all my photo ops. Overall not a great experience. I want to say i wont go back if they have it again next year but if i'm being truthful with myself if they have a guest i really really want to see i know i'd probably go, But it would would have to be someone really special for me to go again.

It’s also the company’s first con; I had a feeling organization could be an issue.

I believe our [member=1060]DRWHO42[/member] is attending today. We can expect a written report from him shortly- he's usually a pretty fast writer. I've tagged him in this post- he may reach out to you for additional comments about your vip experience as (I believe) he's Press

I was looking at the AZ one? It's much closer. I am not a big photo op person. Was waiting to see more guests and panels. Never heard of it before.

I heard the company is run by the people who started and ran wizard world cons before someone else took over wizard world. If that's true theyshould know what they are doing.

I looked online and the founder of Wizard Magazine/ Entertainment started it with his brother.

Even founded by the same people who started wizard world, it's still a different company with other personnel, at a venue that probably doesn't hold these sorts of events (it's a hockey/basketball arena) so there were bound to be organizational issues for their first con.  Question is if they learn.

I am attending today and I am in the process of drafting my article.

Tip for anyone going Sunday: the Info Booth is on the lower level. Same for photo ops, access to the exhibition hall, autograph purchases and redemption.
