You should book Tuesday night directly through the Bayfront. You will save some money. You may even want to do the same for Sunday night.
can i change my booking on onpeak to Wed-Sun online, or should i call onpeak? just want to make sure since i already paid my deposit, i dont want to mess anything up. Then i will book Tues & Sunday directly with bayfront.

I need to add Tuesday to mine also and saw that they were cheaper going through them directly. But how do you get the same room. I don't want to have to switch rooms
i was wondering the same thing.

I was wondering if with all the Hotel Solamar available that maybe SyFy has moved over to the Pendry, because I only remember very few Solamar ever coming up but lots this time...probably off on this
but it has to be some kind of industry folks staying there.
Also do I need to call Onpeak to get an accessible room, there was something on the form but can't remember if it was the hotel or onpeak to call

That would be a huge change for them since they've had it at Solamar forever.  However, I wouldn't mind.  I got a room at Solamar and don't really care for any SyFy shows so if that means its less noisy/crowded I'm fine with that.

[member=2684]Cubby3302[/member]   I want to go through proper room exchange channels but I'd be interested in the MGH room. (We actually put in for 2 rooms and no one in the group got anything in this first round.) Let me know if that gets up on the exchange sheet. But, if there are people ahead of me for MGH ignore this.

Book a room with the same number of beds that you already have, and ask about it at check-in. I did that two years ago and had no problem at all!

I was there last year, and I remember them as queens, but I'm old.

Maybe I'm the one who is old. I remember those beds as being tiny!

Its possible. I haven't noticed any more/less rooms being offered. I have picked it as one of my top hotels every year and its never on anyone's radar for some reason, which is one of the reasons I like it.

Its a smaller hotel, so i have never seen it really that crowded. The only noise you will get will be if you get a room that faces the pool because of the parties. I would advise to ask for a higher up floor/a room not near the pool.

Ok so I have a room booked for Tuesday-Tuesday at Bayfront. Went online and got cheaper rates for Tuesday and then again for Sunday-Tuesday. I called Hilton to see if I can combine my 3 reservations to avoid  changing rooms 3 times. The chick was so not helpful and I got "disconnected "from her lol. I don't think they have the reservations from onpeak yet with our info. Guess I will try to combine them at check in. I'm also nervous to change any dates through on peak. What if the Hilton changes the rates or something. I don't want to lose my reservation. So stressful lol.

Once you have a reservation through Hilton they will not change the rate for your stay.

You can combine your reservations at check-in, or try calling a couple of weeks before the con to ask if they can do it. They won't have the OnPeak reservation info until then so they can't do it now.

OnPeak says about a week. I think last year it was a little earlier, maybe week and a half, two weeks? I don't remember exactly, but that's when requests should be made. We made ours last year and the hotel took great care of us.

So technically deposits are due tomorrow correct? At the strike of midnight we have hit the deadline? Payday is on the 5th but I'm thinking that's actually too late and I need to make a payment tomorrow.
