never good to give in to the mass people. the customer is always wrong. wrong for your bottom line that is.
if i could rent out 90 percent of that hall, and allow celebs to enter it via the back entrance,without a comiccon ticket, that would be awesome. i would restrict them from entering the rest of the con. stopping chaos.
1. offer services
a. someone with a camera on their head to explore booths for one person at a time. with a speaker to allow the client to talk with the booth people.
b. have free comics from the start-ups. they might want to buy the movie rights.
etc.
much better than the red carpet party. might still be able to sell vip tickets, well, ultra vip tickets. at 2500 a pop. i heard the storage thing was a pain in the a*s. i would drop that.
