My mom's side of the family had four generations of Norman. The youngest is called Jake.  ;D

Yes and it can get complicated trying to figure out who is calling who: age, accent and gender pretty much helps you figure out, in about 5 seconds, who should answer, lol

I still like your family's solution better than mine's. We have a bunch of men with the first name Raymond (including me) and they have us all go by our middle names. So family gatherings are easy but everything else is a hassle :) (Why they just don't use Raymond as a middle name I'll never understand.)

The best part is part of the family ONLY use peoples given Jewish names, which is NOT David. Mine is Jacob (Yakkob) and only old members will scream that across a room. "YAKKOB!!!!!"

It's disconcerting....

Sprayzen was my gamer nick for counter strike from nearly 20yrs ago, in our clan I was nicknamed this as I had alot of luck spraying bullets and hitting people in the game.

1908 is the foundation year of the Balmain Tigers, old rugby league team in Australia (don’t exist anymore).

In undergrad we couldn't have pets in the dorms, but I really wanted one. One day I found a cactus on a random shelf at the tiny grocery store near campus and decided he would be my pet. I named him Jasper and he became my mascot. My twitter handle, travel blog, gaming names, etc all ended up jasperthecactus because it's never taken and easy for me to remember. He died several years ago, but the name has stuck. I will forevermore be jasperthecactus.

I don’t know if I answered this before so forgive me if it’s a dupe but it was my college email address and i never stray too far from the user names I used in the past. :)

SynXacK  = Syn Ack.  The internet as you know it functions using a communication protocol often refereed to as TCP/IP ( Transmission control protocol / internet protocol ).  It was developed decades ago and is still a fundamental core component in how computers talk to each other on a large network such as the internet.  When a connection is being established between 2 entities on the internet, IE your smart phone, computer, webserver or anything with access to the internet, they go thru what is called the 3 handshake protocol.  It's a series of messages sent back and forth between devices to create a communication channel between the 2.  Syn/Ack/Fin are the 3 message types used and are short for Sync, Acknowledge and Finish.

I've used this handle for just about everything for 15 years about.  And essentially the computer talk equivalent of saying "Hey, how you doing? ...great and yourself?"

It is just half of my first name (Hannah) and the rest is my last name. Pretty boring

I would change it to my gamertag or my usual username 'cheerstofears', but it looks like its taken.  :P

My forum username was inspired by Star Wars, although I also love bunnies and Disney; thus, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit icon!

Several decades ago, an old boyfriend used to call me "teriqueen" and "sugarplumteri" (awful, I know). The first time I had to come up with a user name on the fly, I couldn't think of anything else, and "teriqueen" sounded way more impressive than the alternative.

Hi, my username was inspired by my son.... he liked the name Bigteddy...and since he was around 8 when we started attemping to attend SDCC, it was appropriate:) He loved his stuffed animals. He's turned into a teenager....but still loves SDCC....so I can still get my fix:)
