Guild Hotel $237/night for Queen, $255/night for King on Priceline 7/21 to 7/25.  Also slightly higher of $264/ night for Queen bed, $284/night for King bed booking 7/21 to 7/25 on Orbitz. Guild is 500 West Broadway, ~16 min walk to SDCC.  Refundable on both Priceline and Orbitz.

Thanks for the heads up! I checked their website directly -- 216/night for a queen room if you have an account (free to join). It's prepaid and is listed as "non-refundable" but from reading the description, it's still refundable as long as you cancel 1+ days before check in. (Disclaimer: please double check before booking!)

If you don't want to tie up that much money, you can still book it for 237 and nothing upfront with an AAA card.

I’ve been checking the travel websites regularly, haven’t been able to get reservations for anything in the Gas Lamp SDCC hotel block after first week in June 2021.  Good job with finding the hostel, I can’t figure out how to get booking.com to do any searches beyond may 2021.

You guys are the best!!!   These postings gave me a lift.

I checked the MMM last week, it's blocked out for 7/21 thru 7/24.

on booking.com Urban Boutique Hotel 5 nights for $800 for 6 night $960

The Guild Hotel if you book on booking.com you should get a "mobile-only price".

Anyone stayed in the Guild Hotel before? Seems like a good backup to grab in case the convention goes forward. Not sure if I'm being too optimistic about 2021 chances  ;D

I just booked Petco Park San Diego 30 Day Stays on the south side of Petco for around $1500 for 6 nights (a block or so from the parking lot where many of the offsites are located.)  I got a 2-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, washer and dryer and more. It's at booking.com.  The original price was around $1200 but along with the usual fees, they charge a $150 cleaning fee.  Still, not a bad price for the location.

They say they've been part of Booking.com since October 10th, so I'm assuming this is a new property.

There's one left I believe. They also have a Gaslamp San Diego 30 Day Stays on G street that is also accepting reservations.

You'll be charged upfront by the company, but you can cancel up to 2 days before.  I booked it based on it's location and to avoid Hotelpocalypse...plus the fact that the place looks huge.

Can someone point me to the info board that talks about the lottery and how that works for SDCC? I'm a newbie, so I'm still figuring out the navigating part of it

Are you asking about the lottery that's run by On-Peak?
