rando, I'm driving up from SD on Thursday night most likely.
Hey kappolo, I think there will be quite a few of us San Diegans *representin'* at WonderCon!   :)  I want to do the Disney thing too so I'll be coming up on Wednesday.  Don't know if I'll be able to sheldoncooper it on the train but I am still considering it.  Hey maybe I'd bump into a terminator?  ;) (with my luck it would be naked *arnolt*)

If you're going to do Disneyland plan on doing it on Thursday or Friday. The weekends should be busy there. Or try early, like when it opens, on say/sun.

That's our plan! Early mornings at Disneyland, then afternoons/evenings at the Con!

Good move. First thing is carsland before the crowds take over.

Transmute Jun, are staying at a Disney Hotel? 'Cause you get early entry into the Parks (which one depends on the day). It is much easier to get on Carsland rides with early entry. I got on Radiator Springs in 45 minutes. Also, as an aside, do not run at Disneyland. Security will stop and scold you.  :( I have seen them escort people before to make sure they don't run. Here is the link about hotel early entry:

Thanks, Briarbun! Yes, we're staying at Paradise Pier. Not only do we get Disneyland early entry, but it's a close walking distance from the convention center! Best of both worlds!

Hey, I just checked the WonderCon hotel link and just noticed they are now (I don't believe they had the Hilton as a choice when I first booked -  :P) offering the Anaheim Hilton as a choice at the same price as the Marriott ($109/night) so I switched from the Marriott to he Hilton.  According to the Hilton website self parking is, at this time, $16/night which is less than the $24/night the Marriott is charging.  Plus I'm a member of Hilton Honors, so... ;)

And the Hilton is slightly closer to the convention center (not that we're talking about that much, but still...).

Not sure if it been pointed out yet, but the Marriott is sold out. I grabbed a Hilton room while they're still available! This con looks like it grow a bit this year.

Huh, I wonder if the Marriott is sold out, or if it's just the Con Block that's sold out...

Wow one is already sold out. That's cool and scary at the same time. Scary in the sense that this year it will have more of a SDCC crowded feeling. On the other hand maybe CCI has something awesome up there sleeves. More panels!!

They booked out more space, so hopefully the crowds will be similar to last year.

Has anyone heard anything about the number of badges sold yet or the capacity for each day?
