Awesome! I will definitely try to start making some friends on here.

To quote Chandler Bing, I'm so confused about what we've been doing SO far...  ;D

BTW Bad Wolf, I wore your shirt to Walmart the other day and got a compliment  ^-^

I think I got in line at 630 am Saturday last year and was in the last thousand people through the door, but I was hoping to hear your experiences and see how they varied.

You mean for the first panel at...what..10am? What if a panel I want to see is lets say at 1pm or so? How many people in average leave the panels?

Well if you want to see a panel for sure, you might as well kiss the whole day goodbye :(

It all depends on what other panels are ahead of yours. If there is a lot of over lap with the fans , only a small percentage will leave.

I've never made past 4:00 pm :D So I never seen a True Blood or Dexter panel because they are usually late in the day :D

You must choose wisely grasshopper

Yeah, I've kissed many days goodbye waiting for those very panels (True Blood and Dexter).  But that's SDCC, it's all about choices and sacrifice.  There are so many good choices.  No matter what choice you make you'll have a great time, but you'll also be missing some equally awesome stuff.  Just enjoy the moment and try not to think about the stuff you missed.

Last year on Friday was Paranorman, Big Bang Theory, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones... back to back.

We made it in the back quarter of the hall at the open before Paranorman panel.  We mainly got in for Walking Dead and GoT, but I'm a BBT fan, my friend isn't.  We heard that if you didn't make it in before 10am for paranorman almost nobody got in until like 3 pm after GoT because there was soo much crossover almost everyone liked all those same shows and nobody.  There was then a mass exodus after GoT. So I heard about people getting in line around 8am and not making it into Hall H until like 4 PM.  Brutal.

Can one go to the restroom during a panel?

In Hall H there are restrooms within the hall.  Just have to make sure someone is willing to save your seat while you're gone.  You are not allowed to leave the Hall.  In Ballroom 20 they give you a pass to go to the restroom, but you have to return during the same panel timeslot.  And again, you'll need someone to save your seat.

On Saturday, nobody (virtually) left hall h until after the marvel panel.

there was the traditional rush to the close seats but no one budged.

Typically Ballroom 20 goes from about 10 or 11am until 7pm.  On Saturday they'll end a little earlier so they can set up the room for Masquerade.  And then lately there has been nothing in Ballroom 20 on Sunday, which tends to make Hall H a little more crowded.

we created a listing per/room in last years area for each day. click on a day & take a look at what panels were there.  then correlate it with the posts in this thread.

in general, the programing seems to follow the same basic pattern year to year.

Quick question.... Do they show the panels from Hall H on screens outside in the Convention Centre at all?
