Lucy **spoilers**
« on: August 17, 2014, 11:50:48 AM »
thoughts?

my friend Roshawn summed it up this way

Quote
Lucy is like being 2 hour PE class. During the PE class, the professor randomly gives three 10 minute breaks. In those breaks, the teacher teaches evolution with a surprise quiz at the end. While walking out, the professor shares the answer to the quiz.

It was Lucy or the turtles for me. We arrived at theatre and I picked Lucy, wife n kid went to the other one. I really like Luc Besson films like The 5th element, Le Femme Nikita and The Professional. I enjoyed the film, it was kinda of a trippy ride. Only 10 percent of our brain?

I did enjoy the movie, but the most common comment I get from people after they see it is that it's not really what they expected going into it.

I dug it. Not quite the movie I expected. Much better than Johannsson's other recent movie, Under the Skin. Lucy = good weird. Under the Skin = bad weird.

I enjoyed it.  I didn't check my watch every few minutes, which means it was holding my interest.  And there were slim movie pickings much of the summer.
