Now its even harder to come by with everyone signing up for lottery. not just Comic Con attendees.
IDK; the first year LEGO did the lotto I scored a minifig for the first time ever: minimal waiting in line, minimal work, etc. In past years I 'failed' with the (essentially) in-person "lotto" draw. I guess if you approach the whole thing as 'icing on the Comic-Con cake,' and not 'I _REALLY HAVE_ to score a free minifig' then I suspect this is a MUCH better system for most fans. Both systems have (had) their flaws & strengths, it's all about perspective/mindset, I think
