I think more than anything, they need to reset the tone of the DCEU. Everything was so grimdark and angst-ridden and angry and pouty. The MCU arguably had more in terms of dark storylines, but even in those darkest moments, it’s never lost its lightheartedness and sense of fun. The DCEU just wasn’t fun.

Exactly.  The Marvel movie consequences are dire like half the population disappearing, but overall the movies are fun to watch.

Just started on this. Am 3 episodes into Doom Patrol and am pleasantly surprised at the combination of heart and utter weirdness. Can't wait for the Danny the Street episode.

Thank you [member=1732]SamTurtledove[/member] ! We subscribed at the very beginning but we've literally watched nothing on it bc we couldn't get it on our main tv (and I refused to buy yet another device just for that). Now we'll finally see Young Justice. :)

I knew I shouldn't have let my son take the xbox to college. Need that Samsung tv support, I hate chromecasting.

Could be the lack of sleep but I’m going to be wild here and say that Ol Pattinson does a great job in the movie.    Mark it down, book it, screenshot it, come back to this thread in a year or two!!!!!

Fun isn’t something one considers when preparing for Comic-Con, but attending does put a smile on my face

I'm inclined to agree with you [member=4158]TossedSalad[/member]. At first I was not happy with this selection, but Twilight aside, Pattinson is a solid actor. I mean people doubted Heath Ledger as the Joker too, and we all know how that turned out.

I suspect he'll be fine as Bruce Wayne... but it remains to be seen how he will perform with the cape. I am certainly willing to give him a chance! I recall when the announced Michael Keaton for the Batman role and no one could see it, yet it turned out well.
