They just tweeted that anyone who got reservations today is all good, but we can make changes tomorrow.

Oh thank goodness!  If they want to keep this system they need to move it to a Saturday.

Hi all. I had no idea this panel pre-registration was going on. I have not been on social media much.

Is there anything that I can do now to prepare for tomorrow morning? The walkthrough makes it look like you have to get somewhere to enter your email and then use a code that is sent to you in the next step of the process.

Can I get my code now somehow?

I just assumed we'd line up for panels. My child is coming with for the first time and desperately wants to get into My hero and Demon Slayer. If we don't get into those panels, that would really be sad.

No, you can’t get the code now.  When you enter tomorrow you’ll be randomly assigned a place in a virtual queue.  When your turn comes up, that is when you’ll be prompted to enter your email address and do a recaptcha.  Then you’ll be sent the code to enter.

They just sent out an email saying the Ghostbuster panel time was wrong and it’s still an hour.

What an awful process and misstep by NYCC.  I just saw on twitter that each individual person needs to make a reservation.  System was broken yesterday and shouldn't have asked how many will be attending the panel.  That was reserved for Children under 13.  So now I guess my group is just screwed since I didn't log on today.  They should have sent emails to everyone who was able to reserve explaining this to them...

They did.  It was in the email they sent on September 17.  It specifically said “Can I make reservations for a group?  Not at this time.  Everyone needs to make their own reservations separately.”   I agree that the reservation system was a mess, but that point they explicitly addressed.

They specifically asked yesterday during the process how many seats you would like to reserve for...

Not to mention that everything is buried on their pages and emails...I see it now, but don't give the option.  Awful.  Put this right in the middle of the work/school day.

And then tell us "If you were able to make reservations today, you're all set! You can make any changes to your reservations when we re-open."

The reservations are still open--your group might still be able to snag something. I was only looking for a few panels and had to wait in line for two hours (in addition to the two-plus hours I waited yesterday!), but I still got two of the three panels I was interested in. PLUS a reservation for a Pizza Rat. :-)

Yeah trying now.  I got in at 10 with my wife's account to see if we could get The Boys that wasn't available yesterday since Ghostbusters time was screwed up and took almost 2 hours.  Logging on with others now to see what's left.  Hard when half the group are teachers...

The Boys wasn’t showing today.  Since that panel was never announced, I think it was a screw up for it to be on the list yesterday.  I tried just now to add George Takei since I couldn’t yesterday b/c of Ghostbusters, but I’m getting a message that it couldn’t be reserved.

I couldn’t reserve George Takei either because of Ghostbusters. I sent them a DM but they haven’t gotten back to me yet.

They mentioned in an email to me last night about the timing being wrong on Ghostbusters that you can log on today to change your reservations and add any other panels.  The Boys wasn't available for me today either, but saw someone else that got in. Maybe that was the only panel that filled...
