I would love to go, but I’m still too chicken to get on a plane even though my little brother and elderly mother were able to make a round trip to NYC last month without anybody getting sick.

I have to admit I am beginning to wonder if this con is going to be worth the money we paid.  I want cons back as much as everyone else but it's a little over a month away and we basically have no announcements.

We know a lot of studios won't send celebrities due to covid restriction on film sets.  Vendors (even in-state) are making the decision it's not safe to send their employees.  We don't even have a lot of artists announcing they are going for artist alley.

Anyone else wondering the same thing?  I am curious to see how ticket sales are tomorrow.

I have to say I feel very safe flying.  Everyone is wearing a mask, and they are cleaning the planes AND the bathrooms like crazy.

That’s good to hear.  I might be brave after I get my booster and if positivity case rates go down again.

Thinking the same thing. I'm on the fence going myself, and even if I want to stay overnight now...

Ticket sales did not go as they probably hoped today.  I wouldn't question going if I felt the content was up to standards.  Also I started a new job so I will be negative on PTO, so it needs to be worth doing that as it impacts things for the future.

I'm going because I'm local but I only bought for one day.  I'm fine with it being smaller, but if I had to fly to NY or shell out for a hotel, I would have definitely passed.

That makes a lot of sense.  I plan to attend the Denver one, local is cheap and does not involve taking as much time off.

I think for now keeping it small and local is a good way to wade into the waters of a return to Con life.
