again this is speculation, I was scanned for the boys too, but I also heard and know people who had reservations for the Boys and were not allowed in because of capacity. So that's what I think happened with why people had different experiences

I was scanned for everything for Empire Stage except Adam Savage, and I just assumed it was because I was fairly late to that one (still before the panel started but after the 35 minutes they stated) - Ghostbusters, Y the Last Man, Prodigy and WWDITS. Ghostbusters was a mess as they first directed me to the non-reservations line and then once I was in the correct queue, they weren’t monitoring the ends of the chute lines so people were coming in and joining the end of the first chute and cutting a bunch of people. They figured it out (sort of) for the other panels and put yellow tape to “close” the line once the chute was full.

I was scanned 100% of the time — Shatner, Boys, Ghostbusters, Discovery, and Prodigy.

I was scanned for Discovery, Prodigy, WWDITS, Wheel of Time, and Chucky.  Not for Ghostbusters, The Boys, Y the last Man, or David Harbour.

Maybe it depended on which door I went through.  I didn't always use the side door for Empire.

You would never catch me at a Shatner panel  :D

I wanted to hear him talk about his upcoming space trip!

I have an analogy for that but I don't want to get kicked off the forum.  Overall though I admit that I just didn't care about it.  As Takei said boldly going where others have gone before  ;D

Others yes.  Someplace I’m likely to get to go to in my life — not so much.

I am not sure about that, there was an interview I heard the other day where they discussed they want it to be a tourist thing.  Considering how old Shatner is, I think there is time for you to plan.  Don't give up hope!

John Hammond planned Jurassic Park to be a “tourist thing” too.  I’m not expecting Jeff Bezos or Richard Branson to have a “coupon day.”  Maybe if I win a massive lottery jackpot, but when the odds are one in 200 million, I’m not optimistic.

But one in 200 Million is still a chance  ;)

The idea of a coupon day to go to space seems like a bad sitcom.
