I have a couple of questions for him - what was the reasoning behind adding a mini Bookcon to the convention? Did they think that the offsite panels last year were successful?  What are they trying to improve for this year in respect to the off-site events? (not sure how to word this, I didn't go to the off-site panels so I don't know if people's experiences were positive or negative).

VIP Passes? :( Don't know if you want to ask why they got rid of them because they really made the event different than SDCC in that regard. I know they said it's because it was too hard to accommodate the passes - but the people who had them were pleased with how it was run.

I will add to that: they claim the VIP isn't fair to others, yet they have them at other shows. Will they be removing VIP options from other shows as well?
