I noticed each film has about 30 minutes for their screening/panel. I was wondering if anyone has experience with attending a screening? Like what else happens besides the actual screening since there are 'confirmed panelists' for each one, but only for 30 minutes? Is there a chance to hang out or speak with the directors/writers/actors etc afterwards?

I went to one two years ago. You watch the film then there is a short Q&A session afterwards. The filmmakers normally sit back in the audience, so it would be very easy to speak to them afterwards.
